![]() ![]() ![]() You don't need CS6 to install/run the Converter, just Windows, or try to Wine it. ![]() I have to look around and see if someone has CS6 and check with the beta of Adobe converter. I have only linux and no access to Adobe software for Windows. Pascal de Bruijn (a group admin) edited this topic 115 months ago. Purchased D3300 camera on a whim :-) The raw files are opened by darktable, but no amount of twiddling gives an acceptable result :-( Same problem seen with ufraw also.ĭoes the unstable version support the images from D3300? If no, I am in trouble :-(Īs a short term fix, can you convert the 3300 RAW files into Adobe DNG? (You may find that Adobe can't process the 3300 file yet either, so this may not work!)Īdobe's DNG converter 8.4 is still in beta/rc, if you can manage to get it to run properly, please upload some of the original D3300 NEFs and converted DNGs (ideally one set per ISO level), so I can take a look, if you hurry I might be able to get it sorted before 1.4.2 :) Our darktable-1.4.x branch (which will be released as 1.4.2 in a few weeks), now has initial experimental support for the D5300. The D5300 NEFs have some arbitrary changes with regard to blackpoint handling as opposed to the earlier cameras. ![]() Yep, that would be a very wrong assumption. Am I wrong in assuming that the other two cameras will work as well? It has the same sensor as the d5300/d3300. The linux version of darktable 1.4 (and even the previous version) seem to support the d7100 raw file just fine. Still it allowed me to process files taken with the D5300 in darktable. This worked fine be it at the cost of multiple files. I do not want to recommend something which darktable cannot support.Ī work around someone in the IRC room suggested was converting the RAW to DNG. Is there any progress on the raw file support for the above cameras? As per the announcement, it says "We will look into it" :-)Ī friend wants to buy one of them. ![]()
